DAY 12 of 12
Capstone — the stage
Demo what you built. Employers and practitioners are in the room.
You can do… by end of day
- Ship a new product end-to-end, solo: frontend + backend + SQLite, live on a real URL.
- Draw the Big Picture from memory and narrate every hop of a live request.
- Demo under questions and explain why each layer is there.
Deliverable
A live capstone, demoed to practitioners, + a personal Ops Playbook (deploy a change, back up, restore, read logs, renew certs).
Big-picture hook
You went from “I write code” to “I ship and operate software.” That's the whole course in one sentence.
Concepts what you'll understand
- End-to-end ownership: idea → code → deploy → data → live → operate.
- The whole Big Picture from memory — you can redraw it and defend every box.
- Demoing: a clean story, a live thing that works, and honest answers to hard questions.
The lab hands-on, ends with something live
- The capstone: build and ship a new product end-to-end — a real frontend, a real backend, real data, a live URL.
- The demo: present it live to a room of practitioners; walk through a request; answer the hard questions.
